Taylor Lautner talks ‘Snow White’ and supporting both Kristen and Lily

As we know, Taylor’s Twilight co-star  Kristen Stewart is starring in the new Snow White and the Huntsman, while his  Abduction co-star  Lily Collins will be starring in another Snow White film adaptation.

At the MTV VMA’s, Taylor spoke to E’s Marc Malkin and explained why he is supporting both films :

The actor has locked lips on screen with Universal’s Kristen Stewart, as well as Relativity’s Lily Collins in The Twilight Saga and Abduction respectively. So which of his leading ladies does Lautner think will come out on top in 2012?

“It’s tough,” he told E!’s Marc Malkin on the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet. “I mean, my excuse is they’re so different. I can root for them both.”

Stewart will star opposite Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen, with Chris Hemsworthto serve as the protector in Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman. Not to be outdone, Relativity nabbed the iconic Julia Roberts for the role of Queen, and Armie Hammer as Collins’ leading man.

“Kristen’s going to be cool and edgy and dark,” Lautner said of her role in Huntsman. “It’s gonna be something new for her and I think that’s really exciting.”

“Lily’s gonna be great too,” he’s quick to add. “And a completely different feel.”

Lautner will next be seen opposite Collins in John Singleton’s Abduction, out Sept. 23.
