Michael Welch was in Georgia over the weekend for an event with The Twilight Moms of Macon GA to celebrate Edward and Bella’s Wedding. Charity from our sister site The Welch Act was able to attend and was kind enough to tell us about her experience and share some of her pics with us! Enjoy!
On Saturday August 13, 2011 The Twilight Moms of Macon GA celebrated Edward & Bella’s wedding by throwing a gala benefiting The Local Ronald McDonald House. The night had raffles, live auctions, silent auctions, a dj, and a cutting of the wedding cake.
Them main event of the night, however, was an appearance by Twilight’s Michael Welch. Michael took the stage at 8:30 to sit down with “Edward” for an entertaining q&a.
At 9 Michael retired to a table in the back to sign free autographs and take photos with fans. Fans could also purchase additional autographs for $5 each. Michael signed & chatted & took pictures for 3 hours. No fan was turned away or rushed in the slightest way. While watching Michael with each fan I noticed that not a single one walked away without a smile. Michael has always impressed the fans that have met him, and this event was certainly no different.
