A new interview with Kristen Stewart regarding The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 was unveiled by La Semaine recently, and a few fans snagged a copyand put together a translation.The whole interview is great, but one part which sticks out to me is at the very end when she talks about what “Bella” goes through in Breaking Dawn, as compared to her experiences in the first three films.“It gives you what you’ve been waiting for. Bella is a fighter. She fought for what she believed was her destiny. When you see her, you see her fight and you realize that she’ll die, you understand what she keeps saying throughout the series that she’s ready to die for her destiny and that now, she’s fully ready to do so.”Do you agree with Kristen Stewart here? When you were reading Breaking Dawn, did you think the events came off as though “Bella” was finally getting her way?
Kristen Stewart’s notorious for absorbing her characters in a different way than most actors tend to. In fact, in response to an interview question I asked her back with New Moon press, she explained that “the only way that I can play Bella is if I could justify every decision that she made and stand behind it as well as, as much as she did.” Sounds like nothing’s changed coming in to Breaking Dawn – Part 1 as far as method goes.
